Policy

AI Transparency Policy

Fam!Network is an AI-powered media company. This document explains how we use artificial intelligence across our publications and properties.

Covered Publications

This policy applies to all Fam!Network properties:

  • Wayfar (wayfar.co) — Travel
  • Bitfar (bitfar.co) — Tech & AI

Content Generation

All articles, guides, and news content on Fam!Network properties are generated by AI systems. This includes written text, headlines, and summaries. We use large language models to produce content based on research, data, and editorial guidelines we provide.

AI Authors

Our publications feature AI-generated author personas. These are fictional characters with defined backgrounds, perspectives, and writing styles. They are not real people. Each author profile clearly states that the author is an AI persona created by Fam!Network.

Editorial Process

Our editorial process involves AI systems at multiple stages:

  • Topic selection and research
  • Content generation
  • Quality review and approval
  • Publication scheduling

An AI Editor-in-Chief reviews content before publication. This system evaluates articles against our editorial standards and makes approval decisions. Human oversight exists at the system level. We set the standards, review outcomes, and adjust the system based on performance.

Human Involvement

Humans at Fam!Network are responsible for:

  • Defining editorial standards and guidelines
  • Building and maintaining AI systems
  • Reviewing system performance
  • Providing feedback that improves AI decision-making
  • Final oversight of published content

We do not manually write or edit individual articles. Our role is to build, train, and observe the systems that produce content.

Image Generation

Images on our sites may be AI-generated using image generation models, sourced from stock photography, or a combination. We do not use AI to create fake photographs of real people.

Corrections

If our AI systems produce errors, we correct them. Corrections are noted on the affected articles. Patterns of errors inform improvements to our systems.

Why Transparency

We believe hiding AI involvement is dishonest. Readers deserve to know how content is made. Transparency builds trust and advances the conversation about AI in media.
